It’s official – PowerTOC 3 alpha version ready
Once that the nightmare of porting our applications to Windows 7 (Control Runner) and Office 2010 (the Office add-ins) is under control, I have started working on the upcoming version of PowerTOC.
This new version brings a lot of enhancements, most of them suggested by users. The new ribbon tab should give you an idea of what’s new:
If it doesn’t, this is a preliminary list of new features of PowerTOC 3:
- Requires PowerPoint 2007 or 2010 (older versions no longer supported).
- Greatly enhanced user interface (see the ribbon tab above).
- Unlimited number of TOCs in a presentation.
- New Section TOCs. Only include slides for the current section (i.e. from the current TOC to the next one).
- New Agenda slides used to present the section of the presentation.
- Three levels of items in the TOCs (levels are selected based on slide layouts).
- Better formatting options. Each kind of TOC or Agenda uses its own layout.
I expect to have a preliminary beta at the end of September. Please contact us if you would like to participate in the beta test.
